How do I create a Twittner account?

To create an account, visit twittner.com and click "Sign Up." You can register using your email address or sign up through a supported third-party provider. You will need to choose a unique username, set a password, and verify your email address to activate your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Twittner.

How do I reset my password?

If you have forgotten your password, click "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter the email address associated with your account, and we will send you a password reset link. The link expires after 24 hours. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support for assistance.

How do I adjust my privacy settings?

Go to Settings, then select Privacy and Safety. From there, you can control who can see your posts, who can send you direct messages, whether your profile appears in search results, and more. You can also manage blocked and muted accounts from this section. We recommend reviewing your privacy settings regularly.

How do I create a post?

Tap or click the compose button (the "+" icon) from any screen. You can write text, attach images or videos, add links, and tag other users. Posts can be up to 1,000 characters in length. Once you are satisfied with your post, click "Publish" to share it with your followers or the public, depending on your privacy settings.

How do I follow or unfollow someone?

To follow a user, visit their profile and click the "Follow" button. Their posts will then appear in your feed. To unfollow, visit their profile again and click "Following" to toggle it off. Unfollowing someone does not notify them. You can view and manage all the accounts you follow from your profile page.

How do direct messages work?

Direct messages allow you to have private, one-on-one or group conversations with other Twittner users. To send a message, click the Messages icon in the navigation bar and select "New Message." You can send text, images, and links. Message requests from users you do not follow will appear in a separate requests folder for your review.

How do I block or mute another user?

To block a user, visit their profile, click the three-dot menu, and select "Block." Blocked users cannot view your profile, send you messages, or interact with your posts. To mute a user, select "Mute" from the same menu. Muted users can still interact with your content, but their posts and notifications will be hidden from your view.

How does account verification work?

Verified accounts display a badge next to their username to confirm their authenticity. Verification is available for public figures, brands, organizations, and notable creators. To request verification, go to Settings, then select Account, and choose "Request Verification." You will need to provide identification and meet our eligibility criteria. The review process typically takes 5 to 10 business days.

How do I report content or a user?

If you encounter content that violates our community guidelines or a user who is engaging in abusive behavior, click the three-dot menu on the post or profile and select "Report." Choose the reason for your report and provide any additional details. Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes action in accordance with our policies. You will receive a notification when your report has been resolved.

Can I delete my Twittner account?

Yes. To delete your account, go to Settings, select Account, and choose "Delete Account." You will be asked to confirm your decision and enter your password. Once confirmed, your account will be deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period. During this period, you can reactivate your account by logging in. After 30 days, all your data, posts, and messages will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

How do I change my username or display name?

To change your display name, go to Settings and select "Edit Profile." Your display name can be changed at any time. To change your username (handle), go to Settings, then Account, and select "Change Username." Please note that your previous username will become available for others to claim once you change it.
